[ the emphatic denial tells lucien enough - henry should probably hear about this. unfortunately, lucien favors mila far more than he favors his boss, so he won’t be saying anything unless (or until) he learns that someone is in immediate danger, namely mila or kieran. ]

would have been smarter to not provide a public reaction like that, but.
